Hi, I'm Alanas — a product designer living in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a background in Graphic Design from Coventry, UK. I design mobile apps and love crafting experiences that feel smooth, intuitive, and alive with personality.
I'm also a huge football fan — I can probably name more club logos than I should admit! Working on a football app lets me combine that obsession with my design skills. When I'm not in Figma, I'm traveling, hiking, or playing video games.
I design mobile experiences from discovery to delivery. I focus on solving real user problems, simplifying complex flows, and turning ideas into practical, testable solutions.
I care about clarity and consistency. Typography, spacing, hierarchy, and color are tools I use to make interfaces feel intuitive and intentional.
I build scalable components and reusable patterns that help teams move faster. I think long-term, so products can grow without becoming messy or inconsistent.
I design with context in mind. I balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to make decisions that are realistic and impactful.
In 2025, I attended Config in San Francisco to step outside my usual workflow and see how other teams approach product design. Hearing how companies think about design systems, AI, and cross-functional collaboration gave me a broader perspective on my own work.
Since then, I've been more deliberate about building scalable components, simplifying flows, and working closely with developers to make sure our mobile experiences can grow without becoming complex or inconsistent.
I'm excited to collaborate on innovative projects or simply chat about design and technology. Feel free to reach out if you have an idea in mind or just want to connect!
